General Description
With its own Monorail station just 1 stop from the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Sahara is known as one of the most easily accessible resorts on the strip. The hotel has two driveway entrances, both off Las Vegas Blvd and Paradise Road as well as a neighboring exit from the I-15 freeway. While still boasting over 85,000 sq ft. of casino floor and over 1,700 rooms, the Sahara, unlike most mega-resorts, is easy to navigate with all three of it's room towers just yards from the front desk. The Sahara offers guests the excitement of strip casino with the classic awe that has made it a must-see since 1952. With five dining outlets, two state-of-the-art theaters, over 85,000 sq. ft. of gaming space and the legendary NASCAR Café complete with arcade and rollercoaster; the Sahara provides all the thrill in an easy to navigate location. POOL AND SUNDECK A sundeck, palm trees, and fountains surround the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel’s 5,000-square-foot seasonal pool and adjacent spa tub. Poolside bar and towel service is available when the pool is open. FITNESS CENTER The hotel's fitness center, located on the 27th floor of the Tangiers Tower, features a variety of equipment, including two treadmills, two elliptical machines, two recumbent bikes, and a multi-purpose hydraulic weight unit. Each cardio machine is equipped with an individually remote-controlled 7-inch LCD TV monitor. DESTINATION SPA & SALON The spa provides treatment and salon services (surcharges). Skydiving and helicopter tours are popular with Las Vegas visitors. Numerous golf courses operate in the Las Vegas area.

House of Lords This classic fine dining steakhouse offers plush booth seating, cascading waterfalls and a glamorous history as one of Vegas’ oldest steakhouses. The menu features steak house favorites such as bone-in Rib-eye, Surf & Turf, Certified Black Angus filet mignon, and a variety of seafood and pasta selections. Dinner served: Monday - Thursday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m; Friday - Saturday: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.; Sunday: CLOSED. NASCAR Cafe NASCAR fans rejoice in this two-level restaurant, featuring race cars hanging from ceiling; giant projection screens showcasing televised NASCAR races, and driver memorabilia. The menu features ribs, chicken, steaks, pasta, and burgers. Open from late morning to late evening; extended hours on weekends. Paco's Bar & Grill Find yourself south of the border and enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine and contemporary coastal dishes. Complimentary chips and salsa or guacamole dip are served and great Happy Hour Specials are offered beginning at 9pm. Dinner served: Tuesday and Wednesday: CLOSED; Sunday, Monday and Thursday: 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday: 5 p.m. - 1 a.m. Sahara Buffet The Sahara buffet features a multitude if all-you-can-eat stations. One can find omelets made to order, carving stations, Asian specialties, a salad bar, pizzas and pastas, and many desserts.
